We so often fail to realize the gift we are living in. The staggering, incomprehensible beauty of our conscious life. The consciousness of beauty – the arch that connects us in every moment to God — we gain it in a moment, and lose it in the next. To embrace beauty, to embrace God, is to take something upon ourselves, a risk and a challenge, a suffering and a trial.
